Guangzhou University

Guangzhou University was established in 2000 following the merger of 5 universities, and is being developed with the support of the Guangzhou governments. It has 27 schools and approximately 34,000 students, and employs approximately 2,000 highly skilled staff.  The School of Computer Science was founded in 2007 and has 74 teachers and staff, which include an academic and 48 teachers with a PhD and an MS.  The school has developed rapidly and is involved in a number of national projects.  Professor Jigen Peng and the majority of his team (who have expertise in neural systems modelling and integration) have moved to GZHU (from XJTU), and will continue with their work to support the project.
