Lingnan Normal University (LNU) has a staff of over 1,446 including 926 full-time instructors, among whom there are 114 professors and 176 with doctorial degrees.

The Intelligent Control Research Centre and the School of Computer Science at LNU has established unique research theme on swarm intelligent and robotics. With new research and development funds of RMB50 million per year pumps into the new research facilities, LNU further expands its innovative research activities. It has modern office facilities for the researchers to carry out innovative research. Prof. Zhong Li is head of the International Engineering College in LNU from 2016. LNU will contribute to WP1 and WP4.
