The Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology (FCSIT) at the University of Putra Malaysia, was established in the 1980s initially and to its current form since 1998.  FCSIT’s vision is to become a world class faculty through the contribution of internationally reputable community of intellectuals in the field of computer science and information technology.

It has ten research groups each has its own leading expertise.  It spans across three modern blocks of office buildings with adequate office and lab space for research projects and hosting researchers.
